CTET December 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Primary Level (Classes I to V)
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or currently enrolled in a Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary with 45% marks and enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE regulations 2002).
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
Junior Level (Classes VI to VIII)
- Graduation and passed or enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and enrolled in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with 45% marks and enrolled in a B.Ed program as per NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and enrolled in a 4-year B.El.Ed or B.A./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks and enrolled in B.Ed (Special Education).
- Candidates with a B.Ed recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear.
- Candidates enrolled in teacher education courses recognized by NCTE or RCI as per the guidelines of 2010 can also apply.
- Post-Graduation with 55% marks and enrolled in a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed program.
Procedure to Apply for CTET December 2024:
- Applications are open for CTET December 2024 (Paper I & II) from September 17 to October 16, 2024.
- Limited exam centers are available; candidates are advised to apply early to secure their preferred city.
- Before submitting the application, review all required documents (eligibility proof, ID, address details, etc.).
- Prepare scanned copies of relevant documents (photo, signature, ID proof).
- Review the application form carefully before final submission.
- Ensure the application fee is paid, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.
