The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released the notification for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024. Candidates interested in applying for the UTET 2024 for Primary and Junior Level exams can submit their applications online from 23rd July 2024 to 17th August 2024. Application Fee:
- For Paper I Only:
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹600
- SC / ST: ₹300
- For Both Papers (Junior / Primary):
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000
- SC / ST: ₹500
- Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or Offline Mode.
Eligibility Criteria:
Primary Level:
- Code 01: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
- Code 02: 10+2 with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.) as per NCTE regulations.
- Code 03: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Code 04: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Code 05: Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
- Code 06: Shiksha Mitra with a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from IGNOU.
Junior Level:
- Code 01: Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
- Code 02: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri).
- Code 03: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri) as per NCTE regulations.
- Code 04: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Code 05: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Code 06: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Code 07: At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). The minimum percentage of marks in Graduation is not applicable to those who enrolled in B.Ed. or equivalent courses before 29th July 2011.
Exam Centers:
UTET 2024 will be conducted in the following districts: Haridwar, Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital, and US Nagar.
Application Process:
- Candidates can apply online from 23rd July 2024 to 17th August 2024.
- Read the notification carefully before filling out the application form.
- Ensure all required documents (eligibility proof, ID proof, address details, etc.) are ready.
- Prepare scanned copies of necessary documents (photo, signature, ID proof).
